Governor Wolf has recently announced that Adams County will be allowed to move to the Yellow Phase during the COVID-19 Pandemic on May 22. This would allow us to begin the 2020 racing season on Saturday, May 23. Our main goal is to keep everyone safe and offer an environment that our customers are accustomed to. We will be following our published Special Safety for COVID-19 Pandemic Guidelines. Drivers and spectators must follow these guidelines or you will be asked to leave. Until Pennsylvania enters the Green phase, we ask that non-racing family members stay home or limit their time at the track. Fans can follow their favorite drives from home by visiting our SBRN YouTube channel or watch live results at RCScoringPro.com. Over the past few weeks, we have considered various race-day schedules to limit the number of participants at the track at one time and follow CDC and PA health requirements. I also have read numerous articles on the characteristics of the Coronavirus outdoors and observed other outdoor recreational activities in Adams/York Counties. Given the size of our facility and our special safety guidelines in place, we have decide to use our regular race day schedule found on our website for at least the first week. Since this is opening day, we will try to open at 10:00 AM with practice closer to 1:00 rather than 2:00. Our concession stand will be open with a limited menu that will satisfy everyone’s appetite. Saturday, May 23 will be a great day to be able to finally open up our 30th season serving the dirt oval racer!
